There are a few things I never leave the house without: my phone, keys, and my makeup bag. My makeup bag has everything I think I might need if I have to do my face or touch it up on the go. Since it’s summer everything is pretty lightweight and quick to apply.
I consider everything in my bag to be an essential. A pair of tweezers in case I find a stray brow, eyeliner, lipliner, and oil blotting papers for touch ups throughout the day. I also keep my favorite hand cream (Bath & Body Works Shea Cashmere) and whichever perfume I’m obsessed with at the time.
I’m a firm believer that a good lipstick can change your life, so I keep three options in my makeup bag on the daily. I usually swap them out for more seasonal colors throughout the year.
For my face I keep it simple with powder, concealer, and setting spray. The Real Techniques Retractable Kabuki Brush is amazing for apply powder on the go. I can use my finger to blend out concealer quickly then buff everything out with the brush. Finishing it off with a few spritzes of Fix+ seals the deal.
I could probably cut back on a few lip products but a girl needs options! Everything in my bag helps me create or maintain a clean polished look, so it’s all necessary.
