Hey peeps! I know it’s been a minute but I’m back with the jump off! It’s been a long long dreary winter but Juvia’s Place came right on time to bring me some bright colors and brighten up my life. Just when I thought they couldn’t get any better they added blush palettes to their line up and how could I say no? I couldn’t! Juvia’s Place released two six blush palettes catering to light, medium, and deeper tones. I purchased Vol. I which is the palette for deep tones.
Juvia’s Place says:
The Saharan Vol I blush palette is the ultimate all in one palette which embodies a meticulously formulated array of multi-functional colors. A perfect blend to captivate facial structures with a flush of richly pigmented colors to make you a true Saharan. Saharan Blush Volume I Palette can be used as a blush and contour palette.
This is quite honestly one of the better indie blush palettes I’ve come across. Most of the ones I’ve seen aren’t this targeted toward deep skin and usually swatch pale and chalky. When it comes to providing for the chocolate girls Juvia’s Place has yet to disappoint me.
Each shade is highly pigmented and the palette is pretty versatile to provide a one stop shop. I travel quite a bit and haven’t taken the time to depot all of my blushes into one easy to pack palette, this will keep me from carrying 3 separate blush compacts and maybe even too many highlighters. Although, can you ever really have too many highlighters?
I can see how this palette could serve as a contour palette as well, the shade Aby probably looks beautiful as compliment to a true contour shade but alone it’s way too warm in my opinion. Shades like Toby, Neo, and Zane are perfect for the summer and can be worn year round. A true orange blush on brown skin?! All love! and with Lila and Zara your highlighting needs may be met, or you might just be getting started.
I can’t wait to really dig in and rock these over the next few months, I might even hit pan on a blush finally. These can also be used as eyeshadows so I’ll be trying them out that way as well. Keep an eye out for a face of the day soon!
