My favorite beauty season might be holiday, simply because all the brands come out with gift sets that are easy on the wallet and justify my habit. It never fails that the months leading up to the holidays I’m not super impressed within any new products or releases, something about them always falls flat. But as soon as I feel that holiday chill up my spine, the sets start dropping and my purchase finger starts twitching! When ColourPop previewed their holiday collection, the only thing that caught my eye was the super shock eyeshadow set, I may have made this purchase within 30 seconds of being available. Let’s get into it.
The Never Not Chillin super shock eyeshadow set comes with six new and limited edition eyeshadows in ColourPop’s unique formula. The super shock shadows are more of a spongy pressed pigment, maybe even gel, but far from a traditional powdered shadow. This formula and texture offer great pigmentation when applied properly (with the finger or a flat synthetic shader brush). The set consists of Peekaboo, Thirsty Girl, Desert, Patchwork, Babykins, and Fairfax a good mix of satin shades, matte shades, and popping shimmers.
The packaging on this set is super cute and makes it perfect for gifting; an ode to music lovers and giving me slight 90s vibes!
My faves from this kit are definitely Babykins, Fairfax, and Thirsty Girl and I’ll certainly get use out of all six in so many holiday makeup looks. The set is super versatile and perfect for a beauty junkie or newbie. The Never Not Chillin eyeshadow set is available for $30 at www.colourpop.com.
