If you’re anything like me your phone is always in your hand or very close by. I wanted to share some apps that I’ve been wearing out lately. I usually download and keep an app if it helps with my productivity, entertains, or relaxes me. Besides the usual social media apps, here are the ones I’ve been loving lately:
Colorfy is an application that let’s you color on the go without having to carry a book, crayons/pencils/markers! I am in love with this app, I’ve sent so many texts telling friends to download it and share their creations with me. You’re given a standard set of colors with the option to purchase other color palettes. The really cool part is, you can share your pictures on all social media channels.
Google Rewards is only available for Android users and it gives us the option to answer survey questions in exchange for Play Store credits/money. Meaning the more surveys you complete the more apps/books/music you can buy. The surveys are available once or twice per week and take less than two minutes to complete. I’ve never had an issue with credits not appearing on my account or being unable to make a purchase in the Play Store.
Glow is a newfound favorite. It’s an ovulation and period calculator that’s a bit smarter than most. You can log personal information daily (weight, temperature, aches, spotting, etc.), indicate if you’re trying to conceive or avoid it, and share the information with your partner by adding them to the app. I like this one because it’s more detailed than apps I’ve used in the past and gives me basic health tips/suggestions based on my daily log.
Relaxed Rain is great for people who need to relax and unwind. It offers the sound of the rain in various settings like the countryside, on a window, or a thunderstorm. I’m a self-diagnosed insomniac and this app provides enough white noise to lull me to sleep. It does have a timer you can set that automatically closes the app and typically after ten minutes I’m in dreamland.
I’m always looking for new apps to try, leave an app suggestion in the comments below!
